I first turned to yoga as a path to healing…
after an injury I sustained while living in Vietnam in 2013. Like a seed taking root, my simple fifteen-minute home practice began to grow - and ultimately led me to India, where I completed my first teacher training in 2015. Since then, I’ve continued on this yogic path, both as a dedicated student and as a teacher. In 2017, I completed an additional 200-hour certification focused on the biomechanics of anatomy and alignment, and in 2019, a 300-hour certification in yoga therapy.
Fast forward to 2025, and I continue to walk this path as an experienced, trauma-informed yoga teacher with a deep passion for sharing the therapeutic aspects of the practice. I believe wholeheartedly that life is practice, and practice is life. This philosophy is informed by both yogic teachings and Buddhist psychology, and is woven into my offerings as well as reflected in my own approach to daily living.
To me, yoga is not just about postures…
it’s about our ability to be present. It’s the willingness to show up – to our mats and to our lives – that embodies the heart of practice. As the science of Ayurveda teaches, what is within is without, and what is without is within. In other words, our external environments profoundly shape our internal experience, and vice versa. In a world that feels increasingly imbalanced and uncertain, many of us are left feeling fatigued, overwhelmed, and fragmented.
Chronic stress doesn’t just affect our energy; it taxes the endocrine system, dysregulates the nervous system, and disrupts the immune system. This creates a biological imperative for each one of us to engage in practices that support a return to balance and homeostasis. My aim is to share these tools with you - so that we can all continue to show up for ourselves, for our loved ones, for our communities (both human and non-human) - and for the planet that we share.
Yoga brings us back to the present moment…
and this is where healing begins. Through breathwork, somatics, and elements of modern movement practices, we soothe the nervous system and start to gather the fragmented parts of ourselves, returning to a state of inner coherence. Whether in 1:1 sessions, classes, retreats, trainings, or workshops, my intention is always the same: to create accessible, welcoming spaces that leave you feeling grounded, embodied, empowered, and centered - so we can keep showing up, and growing into ‘the change we wish [and need] to see in the world’.

May all beings everywhere be happy and free.
And may the thoughts, words, and actions of our own
lives contribute in some way to that happiness and to
that freedom for ALL.
